We hope this letter finds you well. It is with great pleasure that we can share with you the inspiring stories of discovery, curiosity and lifelong learning that your continued support allows us to foster.

At Atlas Science Center, we are committed to our mission of promoting informal STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. We believe that these skills and knowledge are essential for everyone, whether they are pursuing a career in a STEM discipline or navigating our technology-linked world.

Your generous donations have allowed us to make a significant impact in the lives of countless individuals.
This year alone, we have reached over 6,500 guests, students, mentors and community members. Every day we have the privilege of seeing our influence due in part to our educator-led programs.

One parent recently shared with us their experience visiting Atlas Science Center. They wrote, “We visited Atlas Science Center for our first time this year. My two sons and I were very impressed with the space, the talent of instruction and the incredible people that make up Atlas. The boys learned hands-on about photosynthesis and we were actually able to see the plant breathe. It’s an incredible place to learn about STEM and to leave empowered and eager to come back. Great visit!” − Natalie Nelson, Executive Director, Women in Technology

Your support enables us to create these transformative experiences. Our education staff has designed over 25 different STEM related field trips and 20 unique Science Live! stage shows. We have also introduced STEM+ Spanish and Art workshops. These innovative and engaging programs would not be possible without your generous help.

Norma Oliveras, Hispanic Outreach Specialist from the Appleton Public Library shared the following of the STEM+ Spanish Workshop led by bilingual Atlas Lead Educator Claudia Damiani “Mom that was the best day of my life” was what one student replied after they made paper and he was able to keep it. He thought making and having his own sheet of paper was the best thing in the world. In general, all the families are so happy with the experience and never thought that so many wonderful things happened under one roof. The most rewarding part of working with Atlas was seeing how so many new families enjoy the place without any fear and seeing how the children learn so many new things and always have fun with a smile.

Atlas isn’t just about the facts and figures of STEM—it’s about the thrill of asking questions, the joy of discover and the resilience built from experiencing failures. STEM is about wonder, a means to increase self-confidence and a way to shape our understanding of the world around us.

“Our experience at the Atlas Science Center was absolutely fantastic! My two daughters, aged 10 and 13, attended the Women Leader Workshops this past fall and they absolutely loved it. The center provided engaging and hands-on activities that make science fun and educational. Bringing women leaders from our community to assist with these workshops, I thought was really special! Everything they did related to real life experiences and allowed my daughters to explore areas of science they didn’t know existed. The instructors are knowledgeable and great with kids, creating a love for science in a way that’s both entertaining and educational. We look forward to more science adventures at Atlas Science Center!” − Denyal Garski

Today, we invite you to join other supporters in making a difference.
